The Annual Christmas Tea – December 9th & 16th

This is our favorite time of year at Lovejoy’s. We put up our Christmas village, set up the tree, decorate the tables, windows and walls, play Christmas music, and of course celebrate with all of you at our Christmas Tea!

The annual Christmas Tea is a Christmas themed Royal Tea.  It is served in four courses, an appetizer, tea sandwiches, mixed desserts, scones and a choice of one of our featured teas.  Like the peppermint tisane, the house Christmas blend, or another one of our seasonal special blends. Each year Heather & Hannah make all kinds of special desserts, some you’ve seen before, some new ones, but all are sure to please. This is a great time and we look forward to seeing you there.  Merry Christmas!

This years Christmas Tea will be on Sunday, December 9th and the following Sunday, December 16th.
The first seating will be at 12:30 and the second at 3:30 for both days.
Reservations are required and space is limited.

Indian Dinner ~ September 16th

Sunday, September 16th at 5:30 pm we will be having our next Indian Dinner night.  Our curry will be from the Gujarat region. There has been a special request for a super spicy curry in addition to our not spicy version, so if you like the heat it will be your night.

Four courses featuring our made from scratch chicken curry. A delight to the taste buds. As always we will have our amazing chutneys and cucumber raita served with the appetizer of the night, a veggie Uttapam (Ootah-pom).  Heather is preparing a tantalizing dessert. Meal includes your choice of tea or beverage. Our tea pairing for the night is the Pure Assam.

The Indian dinners are always amazing, all natural ingredients, bold flavors with spicy and vegetarian options make it an evening for everyone to enjoy.

If you don’t have a reservation, there are still some seats available
Seating is limited and reservations are highly encouraged.

September 17th, Indian Dinner Night

“Sunday September 17th is our next Indian Dinner night.”

Our Indian Dinner night features a four course meal, with all the trimmings.  All of our Indian dishes are made from family recipes and use authentic Indian spices.  Don’t worry though, we adjust the spiciness down so that you can enjoy the food and richness of flavor without the traditional burning and tears. The dishes are amazing!

On the menu, will be a delicious chicken curry (vegetarian version as well), both spicy and mild versions, accompanied by the most delicious chicken samosas around (pictured above) and followed by the most amazing dessert we have had to date… thats right, the Gulab Jamun (galob jay-man) cheesecake that we featured at the last Indian dinner.

The Gulab Jamun cheesecake is unlike any other dessert.  You will want more…

For the trimmings, sides of mango and lime pickle (hot relish), tamarind sauce and mint chutney. Each one adds a unique flavor to each dish.

The dinner will be open seating between 5:30 and 7:30 pm.  The cost is $25 and includes all four courses and drinks.

Reservations are not required but they are recommended! Reservations – 541-902-0502

The Kingsmill Tea ~ August 6th

The Annual Kingsmill Tea

The Kingsmill Tea is our annual anniversary celebration and what better way to celebrate than with a High Tea.

Although our little tearoom was founded in 1994, we have only had the pleasure of being the owners the last two years.  It has been an amazing two years, in which we have strived daily to raise the bar.  Not just on the food, the service, or the merchandise, but on the ambiance. That special tearoom atmosphere. We can’t take all the credit though, we owe much of to all of you. You are the reason for our success and we take great joy in being a part of everything that makes our tearoom great.

So you’re invited to the celebration on Sunday August 6th.

First seating at 12:30 pm
Second seating at 3:30 pm
It will be a traditional high tea, with four courses.  Which includes hors d’oeuvres, tea sandwiches, scones, desserts and as always a never ending pot of tea. The cost is $25 per person

SEATING IS LIMITED AND RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED
