Blackberry honey harvested in Lane County near Eugene Oregon.  Local honey is often used for sweetening tea, but it is also used for local allergies.  Having kept bee’s ourselves, we learned that honey scraps can be collected from larger regional farms, commingled with other honey scraps and then sold where it was processed as local honey, when in fact it is only locally processed, not local honey.  We know the bee keeper who harvests this honey, the region he works in and are proud to say it is genuine local honey.  “Our bees made these!”
