Lovejoy’s takes great pride in supporting our local charities. The quote above by Winston Churchill is an excellent description of who we are and strive to be as both an organization and as individuals in our local community. We not only strive to make a difference in the quality of our lives but also the lives of those around us by supporting local charities that have hands and feet. What do we mean by that? There are many organizations that simply give to meet tax requirements for write offs, but the roots of our giving run much deeper… We look for organizations with good reputations, who are accountable with the funds they are given, and who are making an impact in practical ways.
In the past year Lovejoy’s has had the pleasure to support the Local Boy’s and Girls Club, Zechariah’s Hope, and The Humane Society. These three charities touch on the fabric of life in many ways, and are great organizations making a difference in community.

In the grand scheme of things we know that our support so far has been small, but we have seen it at work, making a difference in the lives of people of all ages, ethnic groups and ways of life. So we are excited to see the difference we make as we continue to grow.
