We hope you will join us as we celebrate the season and wile the hours away, creating those golden moments over pots of tea and warm scones.
 
Winter hours for the restaurant are Wednesday thru Saturday, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Our last day of service will be December 23rd  , 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  We will be closed from December 24th through January 2nd. The restaurant will re-open on January 4th, 2024.
 
Winter hours for the tea bar/bakery/giftshop are Wednesday thru Sunday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. The tea bar will be closed December 24th and 25th. It will re-open December 27, 2023.

The best scones this side of the Pond! A bold statement for any tearoom, but we have it on good authority.

Not long ago we had a customer in from England. I was bragging to him that we made the best scones this side of the pond. He quickly commented back that he would be the judge of that. Then proceeded to inform me the the was a retired scone maker with over 30 years experience. He enjoyed his meal and then I delivered our traditional sweet vanilla scone with clotted cream and jam and anxiously awaited his verdict.

After he cleaned his plate, every crumb I might add, I made my way back to the table to collect his plate. I was eager to hear his verdict. He announced boldly that our scone was indeed the best scone he had eaten this side of the pond. He continued to sing our praises. I informed him that I would tell the story of his praise and continue to proclaim boldly that we do indeed have the best scones this side of the pond.

So you’re invited to try our scones. Sweet vanilla, white chocolate cranberry, lemon blueberry, toffee or one of the many other flavors with our homemade clotted cream and lemon curd.
